About the role#
This is a full-time student position for the Winter 2027 term. You will join the Canada Retail Advice & Solutions Architecture team to help design and implement technical solutions. This role is hybrid and based in either Toronto or Waterloo.
What you'll do#
- Support the architecture team in creating solutions for complex business requirements.
- Work with architects to build and scale AI solutions across operational processes.
- Create proof of concepts for technical ideas and write supporting documentation.
- Help establish and promote architecture patterns and best practices.
- Collaborate with the enterprise architecture team to maintain standards and support a reuse strategy.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in 2nd year or later of a computer science, engineering, or related technical degree program.
- Expected graduation date of April 2027 or later.
- Knowledge or experience with cloud computing and AI technologies.
- Proficiency in Java and Python.
- Prior experience working in a matrixed or virtual environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain ideas to various audiences.
- Ability to analyze problems and troubleshoot effectively.
