About the role#
This program offers students a chance to explore the actuarial profession while working within our community. You will receive support as you work toward your FSA or FCIA designation. We place students in various departments including product design, financial reporting, asset liability management, capital management, and risk management. This is a full-time, paid opportunity for students with a graduation date of April 2027 or later.
What you'll do#
- Create solutions and contribute to workplace projects.
- Collaborate with team members in a supportive environment.
- Take ownership of work to build leadership skills.
- Gain experience in case analysis and presentation.
- Attend lunch-and-learn sessions on industry topics.
- Receive exam support, including study time, fee coverage, and study materials.
- Participate in mentorship and networking events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program, preferably in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Progress toward your FSA or FCIA designation.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to different situations.
- Experience with AXIS or VBA is an asset.
- For roles based in Quebec, bilingualism in French and English is required.

- Terms: January-April, May-August, and September-December.
