    About the role#

    Tallgrass is hiring an intern for the Environmental Permitting team. You will work within the Project Management department in Houston to support capital projects, including natural gas, hydrogen, ammonia, and CO2 sequestration infrastructure. This is a full-time, on-site position for the Summer 2027 term.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the Environmental Manager with daily project tasks.
    • Create tracking sheets to manage required permits and consents.
    • Collect and archive data from past projects.
    • Develop presentations and reports to track project progress.
    • Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by the Environmental Regulatory Manager.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program for Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
    • An expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.
    • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Strong math skills.

    Location & details#

    • This position is based in Houston, Texas.
    • The internship runs for 10 weeks from May to August 2027.
    • This is a paid, full-time, on-site role.
