About the role#
Tallgrass is hiring a Procurement Operations Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, Texas. You will support the procurement team in securing materials and services while gaining exposure to real-world projects and industry mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Support end-to-end procurement functions with a focus on data analytics.
- Review, streamline, and optimize internal procurement workflows.
- Conduct data quality reviews of third-party deliverables to ensure compliance.
- Manage vendor documentation through systematic cataloging and archiving.
- Facilitate collaboration across various company departments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Intermediate skills in Adobe Acrobat and PDF editing tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
