About the role#
As an IT Infrastructure Intern, you will join our team to handle daily technical operations. You will take on responsibilities similar to our regular staff, working directly with end-users to resolve technical issues. This role provides hands-on experience across server, networking, application, and cyber security functions within an information technology department.
What you'll do#
- Support production and development systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with desktop computers and applications.
- Serve as a point of contact for technical assistance by generating and managing tickets from inbound calls, emails, and chat sessions.
- Perform system software upgrades and install necessary service packs and patches.
- Configure, modify, and repair computer hardware, such as monitors, keyboards, and printers.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of equipment, software, and software licenses.
- Assist with user account changes and the onboarding process for new users.
- Create and maintain internal documentation and articles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Computer Science.
- An expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Term: Summer 2027 (10 weeks, May through August).
