About the role#
The Sourcing & Supply Chain Intern will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, strategic sourcing, and pricing analytics within a global supply chain environment. You will work on projects that combine traditional analytical methods with AI to optimize cost, efficiency, and delivery. This role requires cross-functional collaboration and supports the development of innovative solutions that impact our global operations.
What you'll do#
- Analyze supplier data using AI and traditional analytical methods to identify opportunities for supply base optimization across business units.
- Evaluate legacy suppliers to uncover underutilized resources and recommend supplier consolidation strategies.
- Assist in the development of material pricing tools and predictive models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights and align optimization strategies.
- Prepare and present data-driven findings and recommendations to support global sourcing initiatives.
- Support the development and enhancement of operational analytics tools and processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at an accredited university or college working toward a Bachelor or Graduate degree.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team.
- Strong work ethic.
