About the role#
This is a paid, 40-hour per week, hands-on internship program designed to prepare you for a career in store leadership. You will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role by working closely with mentors and managers to understand how our retail business functions. During this summer program, you will spend your time on the sales floor and in the backroom, learning how to motivate a team, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional experience for our guests.
What you'll do#
- Lead and motivate a retail team to drive sales results and guest service.
- Manage department operations and monitor store financial performance.
- Partner with leaders to provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
- Plan daily goals and organize business priorities within the store.
- Recruit, select, and manage the talent of hourly team members.
- Address team member concerns and remove operational hurdles.
- Review business reports and guest insights to identify and troubleshoot opportunity areas.
What you'll need#

- The ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- The physical ability to frequently lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds.

This internship takes place on-site during Summer 2027. Positions are available in Milwaukee, Brookfield, Glendale, West Milwaukee, West Allis, Wauwatosa, Delafield, and New Berlin, Wisconsin, as well as Otsego, Minnesota, and Waukesha, Wisconsin.
