About the role#
The TD Equipment Finance Team (TDEF) structures equipment financing, such as leases and loans, for business customers. As an Account Manager Intern, you will work within this center of excellence to support business development and credit analysis. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Calgary.
What you'll do#
- Promote business development through prospecting and sector-specific activities.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and direct solicitation programs.
- Support account managers by expanding the existing customer database.
- Prepare and analyze credit applications for current and potential customers.
- Assist clients during annual credit reviews.
- Manage administrative and legal processes related to financing operations.
- Monitor overdue payments and collect interest.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, with a specialization in finance or accounting.
- Relevant experience in sales or customer relationship management.
- Excellent analytical, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to establish professional relationships.
- A commitment to being customer-focused.
- Initiative and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- In-depth knowledge of financing and accounting principles.
