About the role#
The National Real Estate Group Intern / Co-Op role provides an opportunity to gain professional experience within the banking industry. You will work alongside experienced colleagues to support operational functions, manage transactions, and contribute to team initiatives. This position is a 4-month commitment designed to help you build career capabilities and expand your professional network.
What you'll do#
- Execute complex transactions and overrides while adhering to established guidelines and service level agreements.
- Identify, document, and investigate process exceptions.
- Coordinate with partners on key initiatives and act as a project lead for small-scale projects.
- Analyze service delivery issues, conduct research, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Support partners with inbound and outbound requests and maintain working relationships with customers.
- Contribute to the production of reporting and the development of team presentations.
- Identify and manage risks while maintaining an understanding of internal and industry regulations.
- Participate in team activities, provide guidance to others, and engage in personal development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Intent to return to school following the completion of the work term.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and succeed in a professional environment.
