About the role#
The Global Practice for Women & Youth focuses on achieving parity for men and women in our programs. We design and implement initiatives that help people build regenerative farms and businesses. This internship supports the team by refreshing training resources, creating learning products, and organizing youth economic empowerment materials. This is a part-time role, up to 32 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Review and update materials on the Practice intranet page, including how-to guides.
- Organize and code training materials to ensure they are accessible.
- Create and finalize learning products focused on women and youth economic empowerment.
- Review existing youth development materials and adapt tools for use across different regions.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of internal learning webinars.
What you'll need#
- You are a current undergraduate or graduate student.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- An interest in international development, gender equality, and economic empowerment.
- Fluency in English. Proficiency in French, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Arlington, Virginia.
- This is a paid internship.
- We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
- Candidates must reside in CT, FL, GA, IL, MD, MA, MI, NC, NY, PA, VA, or DC.
- Interns are expected to provide their own equipment, such as a laptop and headset.
