    About the role#

    This internship provides practical exposure to geotechnical, environmental, materials, and facilities engineering. You will work alongside professionals on real client projects and learn how technical decisions impact the community. The role includes participation in a nationwide cohort program where you can share your experiences with executive leadership.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with engineers and technicians on field and laboratory assignments.
    • Support active projects while building skills in sampling, testing, data analysis, and report development.
    • Receive mentorship from professionals focused on your growth.
    • Learn about safe field and laboratory practices, ASTM, DOT, and COE testing standards, and project management fundamentals.
    • Develop your consulting skills through quality management systems and client communication.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, business, or a related technical field.
    • A genuine interest in consulting and fieldwork.
    • Demonstrated curiosity and a focus on teamwork.
    • Alignment with company values of caring, courage, curiosity, excellence, integrity, and prosperity.
    • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Niles, Michigan.
    • This is an on-site, paid, full-time position.
    • The internship follows a rolling schedule.
