    About the role#

    As a Product Engineering intern, you will support the development and implementation of strategies to reach profitability targets on assigned product lines. You will work on new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion, and yield enhancement projects. You will have direct involvement in the entire product lifecycle, including product definition, qualification, manufacturing, and quality. You may be placed in a Validation/Characterization, Product, or Test engineering role based on your degree.

    What you'll do#

    • Test and troubleshoot issues.
    • Develop production and characterization test specifications.
    • Create and manage product documentation.
    • Provide product development support by interfacing with design, test, and quality engineering groups.
    • Design, debug, and correlate test hardware and software.
    • Design interface and measurement circuits to make tester capabilities compatible with product definitions.
    • Resolve customer quality and application issues.
    • Facilitate cross-functional teams in problem solving activities.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field.
    • A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to work in teams and collaborate across different functions.
    • Initiative and a drive for results.
    • Time management skills to ensure on-time project delivery.
    • Ability to work in a changing environment.
    • Ability to build influential relationships.
    • Coursework in semiconductor processing, process control methodology, or device failure analysis.
    • Proficiency with bench level test equipment such as DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters.
    • Experience with LabView, Spoffire, MatLab, JAVA, C++, or other programming skills.
