    About the role#

    This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Dayton, Ohio. The Distribution Planning team evaluates the electric distribution network to forecast system needs and develop solutions that maintain safe, reliable service for the long term.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform Load Flow and Short Circuit analysis.
    • Identify system constraints and risks.
    • Collaborate with staff engineers on complex studies involving new load and distributed energy resources.
    • Develop solutions to address system needs.
    • Complete additional assignments as determined by your supervisor.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Ability to work multiple non-contiguous co-op sessions.
    • Previous work experience, preferably in an engineering setting.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Proven leadership experience.
    • Strong time management skills.
