About the role#
This summer internship offers exposure to corporate tax functions, financial processes, and business operations. You will support the Tax department with day-to-day activities and projects that contribute to organizational goals. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Maumee, Ohio, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Develop a foundational understanding of tax principles, regulations, and business processes.
- Gather, organize, validate, and analyze financial and operational information.
- Create, review, and maintain spreadsheets, reports, workpapers, and other documentation.
- Collaborate with tax team members and business partners on ongoing projects.
- Participate in research, data analysis, and problem-solving efforts.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Prepare information and documentation for tax filings and audits.
- Assist with various tax-related projects and departmental initiatives.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree program in Accounting or Finance.
- Sophomore standing is required, while junior standing is strongly preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work under supervision and follow defined procedures.
