About the role#
Land O'Lakes is hiring an Accounting Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This full-time, paid position offers hands-on experience within a professional accounting environment. You will work alongside business unit or corporate accounting teams to support key financial functions.
What you'll do#
- Support cost accounting or general accounting activities.
- Assist with month-end close processes.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations.
- Support journal entry preparation and processing.
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with accounting team members and cross-functional business partners.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information and solve problems independently.
- Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn.
