About the role#
As a Sales and Management Intern, you will work closely with the Store Manager to understand the retail business and develop management skills. Your primary focus is to deliver an enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests while balancing sales, merchandising, and operational tasks. This internship is an on-site, paid position in Lone Tree, Colorado, with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Greet Guests with a friendly attitude and provide consistent, high-quality service.
- Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales, and total net sales goals.
- Build and maintain Guest relationships to grow a client-based business.
- Develop a deep understanding of Buckle’s customer service expectations.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking results.
- Perform operational tasks including cashiering, merchandise display, register procedures, and facility maintenance.
- Provide weekly reports and progress updates to the Area Manager and District Manager.
- Complete modules from the Buckle Management Manual covering orientation, leadership, and recruitment.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or Marketing.
- An interest in a long-term commitment with Buckle.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and specific holidays.
Location & details#
- Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, USA.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $16 to $17 per hour (includes base rate plus commission).
