About the role#
The Sales & Management Intern position focuses on creating an enjoyable shopping experience for our guests. You will work closely with the Store Manager to learn how our retail business operates and what is required to excel in management. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude.
- Provide legendary service throughout the store, including the sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area.
- Achieve personal sales-per-hour goals set by store management.
- Check out and bag purchases.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation and organization.
- Complete management training modules and provide weekly progress reports to leadership.
- Manage a specific product category to set goals and track results.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field.
- No prior experience or training is necessary.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with Buckle.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.
