About the role#
As a Mechanical Packaging Systems Engineering Co-op, you will join our team in Green Bay to work on real-world projects. You will support the design, analysis, and implementation of custom packaging systems for industrial clients. This role involves working with material handling equipment, packaging machinery, and production line improvements. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside experienced engineers, including opportunities to visit client sites to see how systems are installed and optimized.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, evaluation, and improvement of packaging systems and production lines.
- Assist with packaging line assessments and the development of engineering recommendations.
- Contribute to deliverables like equipment specifications, layouts, and testing plans.
- Perform engineering analysis and calculations for project design and execution.
- Participate in equipment testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- A GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Previous experience or coursework involving basic AutoCAD Mechanical 2D functions.
