About the role#
The Landscape Architect Intern will work with our in-house team on multifamily development projects across the country. You will support the design process from schematic phases through construction administration. This role involves active participation in the development process and requires a willingness to support the team at all levels.
What you'll do#
- Research project topics and summarize findings to meet specific needs.
- Assist with the production of graphic presentations, renderings, and construction drawings for bidding and regulatory approvals.
- Research local zoning codes to ensure designs are prepared for permit and plan reviews.
- Prepare landscape and site feature design presentations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies.
- Support the Landscape Architecture team with project development and construction handoff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising junior or Master’s student in a Landscape Architecture program at an accredited university.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat), Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Strong graphic design abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to take direction.
- Relentless problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate project needs.
- An understanding of the difference between causation and correlation.
- A willingness to work at all levels, including tasks that support the entire team.
