About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Columbus, Georgia. You will work on-site, splitting your time between an office and the plant floor. You will collaborate with operating technicians and salaried staff to learn our manufacturing processes and support quality assurance initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Work with technicians on the production floor to collect data and understand manufacturing processes.
- Support grading guidance and evaluate process capabilities for meeting specifications.
- Manage and complete assigned projects.
- Document and communicate your results through standard reports.
- Collect and analyze data to recommend process improvements.
- Create and update program documentation.
What you'll need#
- Rising junior or senior standing in an undergraduate program.
- Educational background in a science or engineering field, with a preference for Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
- Willingness to work in both office and plant environments.
- Commitment to following all safety procedures.
