About the role#
The Mosaic Mining the Future Indigenous Students program offers summer 2027 placements for post-secondary students. This program is open to students of Métis, First Nation, or Inuit ancestry. You will work on-site at our Saskatchewan operations to gain practical experience in your field of study.
What you'll do#
Your specific responsibilities depend on your placement, but you may be involved in the following areas:
- Student Engineer: Supporting site operations in departments like process, maintenance, mining, or geology.
- Environmental/Lab Technician: Assisting with field data collection and compliance tasks.
- HR or Talent Support: Helping with recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
- Administrative Assistant: Supporting office operations, communications, and scheduling.
- Project Coordinator: Managing resources, timelines, and team collaboration.
What you'll need#
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You are of Métis, First Nation, or Inuit ancestry. A status or Métis citizenship card is required.
- You are currently a full-time post-secondary student in the semester prior to the work term.
- You have reliable transportation to get to and from the work site.
- You have the ability to work full-time for the duration of the summer 2027 term.
- You can follow all safety and environmental policies while maintaining a clean work environment.

- Term: Summer 2027.
