About the role#
This is a full-time, paid co-op or internship position based at the Mosaic Potash Belle Plaine site in Saskatchewan. The role runs from January 11, 2027, to December 17, 2027. You will work on-site on a 9/80 schedule, typically 36 to 40 hours per week. This position offers exposure to multiple engineering functions, including capital projects, process engineering, maintenance, R&D, and production.
What you'll do#
- Execute capital projects as a junior engineer, covering everything from initial scoping to construction.
- Participate in procurement tasks like bid preparation and vendor selection.
- Assist with scoping and planning future projects to support five-year planning efforts.
- Help project engineers manage execution demands, including project handover and closeout.
- Communicate with various personnel, including plant operators, tradespeople, contractors, and management.
- Attend department and project-specific meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial Systems, Mechanical, Mining, or Process Engineering.
- Completion of at least your second year of study by January 2027.
- A minimum grade average of 72%.
- Basic computer skills and experience working in a team environment.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in an industrial chemical and mining environment, which may include exposure to hot or cold temperatures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, working at heights, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Successful completion of pre-placement screenings, including drug and alcohol testing, a background check, and a physical exam.

- Location: Belle Plaine, Saskatchewan, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to December).
