About the role#
The Mosaic Company is hiring a Process Engineer Co-Op or Intern for the Winter 2027 term at the Potash Colonsay mine in Saskatchewan. This is a full-time, on-site, paid position. You will gain hands-on experience in an industrial mining environment while working alongside professional engineers on mill process improvements and site initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support mill process improvements and assist with process modeling.
- Conduct field checks and contribute to system validation for new projects.
- Gather data and align metrics with production targets to support KPI reviews.
- Contribute to ongoing site initiatives and operational success.
- Collaborate with plant operators, engineers, tradespersons, and contractors.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
- Must be in your third year or higher by January 2027 with a grade average of 72% or higher.
- Ability to work full time while maintaining student status.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- 1-2 years of experience through volunteering, school organizations, or previous work is preferred.
- Ability to work in an industrial chemical and mining environment, including occasional outdoor work in varying temperatures.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs, working at heights, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Candidates must pass a post-offer drug and alcohol screening, background check, and physical examination.

- Term: January 11, 2027, to December 17, 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site, full-time (36-40 hours per week).
