    About the role#

    The Process Engineer Co-Op supports engineering activities for lime kiln processes and production units. You will work with the site management team and corporate process engineering on projects to support plant operations. This is a 6-month position spanning Summer and Fall 2026.

    What you'll do#

    • Identify production bottlenecks, create action plans, and track results.
    • Assist engineers with designs, research, and calculations.
    • Provide technical support to production, maintenance, quality, and environmental teams.
    • Monitor process reliability to determine potential improvements.
    • Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures and manuals.
    • Conduct process and energy audits to find cost savings.
    • Track raw material analysis and monitor stone quality.
    • Report on heat and mass balance, downtime, and production figures.

    What you'll need#

    • Third or fourth-year student pursuing a bachelor degree in chemical or industrial engineering.
    • Strong computer skills in MS Office, specifically Excel.
    • Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
    • A valid driver license.
    • Ability to travel to other sites as needed.

    • This is a paid, full-time position.
