About the role#
This is a full-time Process Engineer Co-Op or Intern position for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site at the Mosaic Potash Esterhazy mine in Saskatchewan. This role involves assisting engineers with major projects and daily troubleshooting to improve mill performance, facility efficiency, and product quality.
What you'll do#
- Perform fieldwork including data analysis, report writing, and monitoring performance indicators.
- Troubleshoot to identify root causes of operational problems.
- Complete metric reporting and process optimization tasks.
- Assist with Turnaround and Repair Day equipment inspections.
- Communicate with management, plant operators, engineers, lab personnel, and contractors.
- Participate in department and project-specific meetings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
- Completion of at least your second year of study by May 2027 with a minimum grade average of 72%.
- Ability to work in an industrial chemical and mining environment, which may include outdoor work in varying temperatures.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between sites.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs and climbing stairs.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Successful completion of pre-placement screening, including drug and alcohol testing, a background check, and a physical functional capacity exam.

- Schedule: Full-time, typically 36 to 40 hours per week.
