About the role#
The University of Tulsa is hiring an intern for the Men's Track and Field program. This role focuses on assisting with coaching sprints, hurdles, and occasionally jumps. You will work directly with the coaching staff, specifically supporting the speed and power event groups.
What you'll do#
- Join the Track and Field staff.
- Facilitate training sessions and workouts as assigned by the Director of Cross Country and Track and Field.
- Work closely with speed and power athletes.
- Attend weekly staff meetings.
- Travel to all team competitions.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree.
- A background in sprint and hurdle events.
- Experience coaching or competing at the collegiate level.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to drive university vehicles.
- The ability to attend all practices.
- Preferred: Experience in Division I Track and Field or combined events.

- Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- Modality: On-site.
- Duration: This position is paid over 10 months and lasts for a maximum of two seasons.
