About the role#
The Athletics Student Assistant for Performance supports the Sports Performance staff in optimizing athlete well-being and performance. This role spans areas including strength and conditioning, nutrition, and sports medicine. It is a paid, on-site position suitable for students in Kinesiology, Health Administration, Nutrition, Biomedical Sciences, or Public Health.
What you'll do#
- Assist staff with daily operations in strength and conditioning, nutrition, and sports medicine.
- Set up and break down training equipment.
- Maintain facilities and stock necessary supplies.
- Demonstrate correct exercise and rehab techniques to athletes.
- Complete data entry and clerical tasks as assigned.
- Learn the various aspects of athletic performance and student-athlete well-being.
