About the role#
This internship supports the Disneyland Attractions Operational Technology Cybersecurity and Attraction System Support teams. You will work with the Manager of Cybersecurity Engineering to maintain systems critical to attraction operations. You will collaborate with ride and show control engineers to ensure the reliability of PC-based control systems.
What you'll do#
- Install, configure, test, and patch operating systems on PC-based ride and show control systems.
- Support troubleshooting of PC-based software and hardware components, both in the field and back-of-house.
- Create essential security documentation, including network diagrams, wiring diagrams, and Theory of Operations.
- Deploy hardware and create technical dashboards.
- Communicate project status clearly and concisely to team members and management.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher at an accredited college or university.
- Major in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cyber Security.
- At least 18 years of age with unrestricted work authorization.
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux vulnerability patching and tuning tools.
- Understanding of computer architecture, software, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, firewalls, security management, and tools like VMWARE, SIEM, and endpoint detection and response.
- General PC repair skills, such as diagnosing failed components and installing hardware.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Ability to multitask and manage frequent interruptions.

- Location: Anaheim, California.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to June 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, 100% on-site.
- Eligibility: Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university taking at least one class in the semester prior to the internship.
