About the role#
The Walt Disney World Resort is looking for a communicator to support the Communications & Public Affairs department and the Executive Communications team. This role involves creating written and visual communications that help senior leaders connect with Cast Members, business partners, and external audiences. You will collaborate across teams to contribute to presentations, events, and engagement strategies.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the development of executive communications strategies.
- Design graphics, presentation templates, and other visual assets.
- Film and edit videos for social media channels like Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Create and update scripts, correspondence, and other written materials.
- Assist with the planning and execution of executive programs and events.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners across the company.
- Provide general administrative support to the team.
- Help prepare and facilitate executive presentations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or Journalism.
- A portfolio of written and visual work is required for your application.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing.
- Ability to create presentations using Canva, Apple Keynote, or Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong writing skills with knowledge of AP Style.
- High expertise in Mac operating systems, with comfort using both Mac and Windows.
- Ability to safeguard confidential information and maintain a professional demeanor when working with senior leaders.
- Strong critical thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess unrestricted work authorization.

- Location: Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 through June 2027).
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- This is a paid internship.
