About the role#
As a Civil Engineering Intern on our Site Civil Design Team, you will support infrastructure projects across the Northeast. You will work alongside industry experts to tackle challenges related to community resilience and environmental sustainability. This position is based in our Westfield, Massachusetts office and operates in a hybrid format.
What you'll do#
- Research, compile, and examine project-related data.
- Assist staff with various projects and field assignments.
- Perform computer-aided drafting tasks and create basic plans in AutoCAD.
- Complete engineering calculations under the direction of an engineer.
- Prepare written communications including emails, memoranda, field reports, and specifications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program for Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- At least 2 years of completed college-level coursework.
- Previous relevant work or internship experience in engineering, design, or consulting.
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems.
- Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness.
- Hands-on experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or HydroCAD.

- Location: Westfield, Massachusetts.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour, based on completed years of college-level education.
