About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Summer 2027 internship based in Houston, Texas. You will work directly with experienced engineers and mentors on real projects that impact the business. You will contribute to the design, production, testing, and improvement of our products. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience in a manufacturing and technology environment.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering projects from concept through implementation.
- Assist with product design, analysis, testing, and validation.
- Participate in lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
- Analyze engineering data to make recommendations on quality, safety, performance, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Create and update technical reports, drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Observe and support laboratory testing, field activities, and manufacturing operations.
- Present your project results and recommendations to engineering leadership at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular activities, academic projects, organizations, or previous internships.
