About the role#
This summer internship offers an opportunity to work alongside our project management and preconstruction teams. You will gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to electrical and specialty systems projects. This is a full-time, paid position based in El Paso.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the planning, organizing, and staffing of electrical and specialty systems construction projects.
- Visit various jobsites to interact with crews, customers, foremen, and general contractors.
- Review assigned portions of outgoing estimates with the Estimating Department.
- Contact vendors to secure materials for construction projects.
- Attend weekly and monthly meetings, including staffing, project management, and sales meetings.
- Process miscellaneous paperwork as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited institution working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency with a PC and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Accubid or AutoCAD is preferred but not required.
- Relevant academic projects or prior internships related to construction or project management are advantageous.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

- Work Modality: On-site with 15-20% travel required.
