About the role#
As a Market Data Developer intern, you will join our backend team to support the flow of market data from dealers to traders. You will work on low-latency systems programming to ensure data moves efficiently and remains well-formatted for our clients. We look for individuals ready to contribute to our next-gen market data server while exploring how AI and new technologies apply to our business. You will be encouraged to challenge existing processes and share your ideas.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside backend developers on low-latency systems.
- Focus on the efficient transmission and formatting of market data.
- Contribute to the development of our next-gen market data server.
- Explore the application of AI and emerging technologies within the business.
- Challenge current processes and offer new perspectives.
What you'll need#
- Experience with C++ including advanced data structures, algorithms, networking, and modern STL.
- Experience with Python including advanced data structures, algorithms, and networking.
- Practical knowledge of TCP/UDP.
- A willingness to learn advanced C++ and Python techniques.
- Motivation to make a measurable impact on Tradeweb market data.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Jersey City, New Jersey.
