About the role#
This 12-week summer internship offers hands-on experience in construction project management. You will work alongside project managers to execute construction projects, focusing on energy-efficient building solutions. The program aims to develop your technical, business, and leadership skills while providing insight into our operations. Successful interns may have the opportunity to join our Graduate Training Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Plan and coordinate assigned projects by establishing schedules, parameters, and procedures.
- Support the engineering team with programming and material selection activities.
- Assist in creating and maintaining operations budgets by monitoring expenses and forecasted costs.
- Collaborate on sub-contractor requests for quotations, including scope statements and milestone dates.
- Communicate project status, budgets, and performance updates to contractors, owners, and internal team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, with at least sophomore year completed.
- Pursuing a degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
- A valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
