About the role#
This 12-week summer internship provides exposure to technical sales within the HVAC and building management industry. You will work alongside experienced account managers to understand the full lifecycle of sales engineering projects. This role involves direct interaction with customers and participation in business functions to build your technical and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with sales account managers and customers.
- Learn the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services.
- Attend sales meetings, business functions, and service calls.
- Follow the steps sales engineers take from the start to the finish of a job.
- Gain hands-on experience with commercial, industrial, and institutional HVAC equipment.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program in Engineering (all engineering majors are welcome).
- Completion of at least your sophomore or 2nd year of study.
- A valid driver license held for at least 12 months, along with the ability to provide proof of insurance.
- Legal right to work in Canada.
- A clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the previous 3 years.

- Location: Ottawa, Ontario.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site (5 days per week).
- Compensation: $22.05 - $31.50 per hour.
- Employment type: Full-time, paid internship.
