About the role#
This 12-week summer internship provides hands-on experience in technical sales within the HVAC and building management industry. You will work alongside sales account managers to learn the design, application, and sales processes for systems, controls, and services. This program offers a look into a career in sales engineering and may provide a pathway to the Graduate Training Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with sales account managers and customers.
- Attend sales meetings, business functions, and service calls.
- Learn the full scope of a job from start to finish as handled by sales engineers.
- Serve as a daily point of contact for customers to help build relationships.
- Gain exposure to service, equipment, building automation, and application facets of the business.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Completion of at least your sophomore or 2nd year of study before the start of the internship.
- Legal right to work in Canada.
- A valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with no major violations.
- Ability to provide proof of insurance.
