About the role#
TSC is hiring students for an Electrical Engineering Co-Op position in Huntsville, Alabama. You will support the Radar and Precision Weapons Development Operation. This program allows you to apply classroom theory to practical work situations while gaining skills that support your future coursework. Co-ops commit to three semesters through an alternating work schedule.
What you'll do#
You will support full-time engineering staff with various technical tasks. As you gain experience, you will take on more responsibility. Your primary duties include:
- Analyzing data and identifying post-flight or mission data processing.
- Providing field test support for military defense systems.
- Performing acceptance testing of RF and microwave components.
- Assisting with the development of electronic component test procedures.
- Participating in system integration and testing.
- Using tools such as MathCad, Matlab, Python, AutoCAD, OrCAD, and HFSS.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university with good academic standing.
- Pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Hardware Engineering, Wireless Hardware Engineering, or a related field.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Security Clearance.
