About the role#
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Syracuse, New York. You will work alongside our engineering team to support the design and development of products for military and space-based applications.
What you'll do#
- Design and package complex electro-mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Develop procedures for product testing.
- Provide technical support to production staff.
- Prepare engineering change notices to update production processes.
- Direct and coordinate fabrication and installation activities to ensure systems meet specifications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering at an accredited college or university.
- A minimum grade point average of 3.0.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- US citizenship, as this role requires a background that permits the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance.
