About the role#
University Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a Student Assistant to support the Information Technology Office at the Fair Political Practices Commission. This part-time, temporary position involves performing technical tasks under the supervision of an Information Technology Specialist. Work is performed on-site in an office environment.
What you'll do#
- Manage help desk tickets.
- Provide first-level technical support for PCs.
- Install and set up laptops, printers, and computers.
- Create and update system documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student in a Computer Science or Information Technology major.
- Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least six-semester units or nine quarter units.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage your time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.

- Schedule: Flexible hours between 8 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
