    About the role#

    The Kirmayer Fitness Center at the University of Kansas Medical Center hires students to support daily operations. You will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and guests. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling application process.

    What you'll do#

    • Greet and assist visitors as they enter the facility.
    • Monitor fitness areas to ensure equipment is used safely and facility policies are followed.
    • Clean and sanitize fitness equipment and common areas.
    • Organize and check out recreational equipment.
    • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
    • Answer questions about facility programs and services.
    • Report maintenance issues or accidents to supervisors.
    • Support special events and wellness programs as needed.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be a currently enrolled student at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
    • You must hold a current CPR/AED certification.
    • This role requires advanced knowledge and analytical skills in Health Administration, Nutrition, Kinesiology, Public Health, or Psychology.

    • This role is located in Kansas City, Kansas.
    • Work is performed on-site.
    • This is a part-time, temporary position.
