About the role#
Verdex Construction offers a 12-week internship program designed to provide a comprehensive look at the construction industry. You will rotate through different areas of the business, spending 4 weeks with the estimating team followed by time split between project management and field operations. This role is paid and full-time.
What you'll do#
- Support the project management team with file management, document control, material tracking, and progress reporting.
- Assist field supervision with safety procedures, trade partner coordination, and verification of field conditions.
- Perform quality control tasks directly on construction sites.
- Gain practical experience with the estimating process through daily support of the estimating team.
- Participate in the Summer Speaker series, jobsite tours, and various networking opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant degree program such as Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- A resourceful approach to troubleshooting and independent work.

- This position is based on-site in West Palm Beach, Florida.
- The internship follows a rolling term schedule.
