About the role#
Verkada is hiring software engineering interns for the Winter or Summer 2027 terms. You will join our frontend team to build and launch products used by customers around the world. This is a full-time, on-site role based at our headquarters in San Mateo, California.
What you'll do#
- Build product experiences across our Command web platform and mobile applications.
- Lead projects from the initial design phase through to implementation.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to create new features.
- Develop the latest iterations of our flagship software.
What you'll need#
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Previous internship experience developing and launching products.
- Experience building reusable components and pixel-perfect user interfaces.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with a modern web framework such as React, Angular.js, or Vue.
