About the role#
As a Civil or Structural Engineering Intern, you will support engineering and procurement activities for nuclear power plant structures, modules, and construction projects. You will report to the department manager and work on projects related to large-scale infrastructure and energy.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering analysis and design documentation.
- Assist with structural evaluations and calculations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
- Participate in project reviews and planning sessions.
- Help develop technical reports and presentations.
- Support procurement and manufacturing projects.
- Collaborate with project teams.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for civil or structural engineering.
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
- Interest in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
- Proficiency in engineering and productivity software.

- Locations: Cranberry Township, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Work Modality: Hybrid or on-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
- Compensation: $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
