About the role#
As a Computer Engineering Intern, you will support the development, testing, verification, and maintenance of software and digital systems used in the nuclear industry. You will report to the department manager and work on projects related to cybersecurity and secure coding. You will also collaborate with engineering and IT teams.
What you'll do#
- Develop and test software applications and tools.
- Support system integration and verification activities.
- Assist with coding, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in software validation and testing efforts.
- Maintain technical documentation.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
- Experience with programming concepts.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle principles.

- Locations: Rock Hill, SC or Columbia, SC.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Modality: Hybrid or on-site.
- Employment type: Full-time, paid internship.
- Compensation: $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
