About the role#
WGI is hiring a Civil Engineering intern for the Fall 2026 term in San Antonio, Texas. This paid internship offers hands-on experience with real projects for both private and public clients. You will work alongside our team to bridge the gap between classroom theory and professional practice.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members within and across various departments on challenging projects.
- Contribute to specific team projects and individual tasks assigned to your discipline.
- Follow company policies and guidelines while maintaining a punctual and dependable schedule.
- Take on additional responsibilities as your experience grows.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of study at an accredited college in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to adapt to varied work environments, including office settings, outdoor sites, and project locations.
- Current authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or Microstation is a plus.

- This role is based on-site in San Antonio, Texas.
- This is a paid, full-time internship for the Fall 2026 term.
