About the role#
We are seeking Transportation Engineering Interns to join our infrastructure teams in Dallas or Houston for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position requiring 40 hours per week from January through May 2027. You will work alongside licensed engineers on projects involving traffic, roadway and pedestrian facilities, bridges, and structures.
What you'll do#
- Assist with analysis, design, plan production, and cost estimation for various transportation projects.
- Use software applications such as Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer to support design tasks.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external subconsultants, and clients.
- Manage project tasks and solve technical problems with a high degree of independence.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment at an accredited college or university, preferably with at least sophomore status.
- Pursuit of a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional multitasking and time management abilities.
- A willingness to learn and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

- This internship is based on-site in Dallas or Houston, Texas.
- This position does not provide visa sponsorship, and candidates must possess valid work authorization.
