About the role#
As a Student Ambassador, you will work on-site at Maxwell Raleigh to support our apartment community. You will report to the General Manager and handle the daily operations of leasing, marketing, and resident relations. This position is part-time and requires 20-25 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Greet prospective clients and conduct property tours while highlighting unit features.
- Manage the full leasing cycle, including generating leads, qualifying prospects, and processing lease paperwork.
- Oversee move-in procedures and ensure apartments are ready for new residents.
- Handle phone calls and in-person inquiries while maintaining accurate guest cards.
- Assist with lease renewals and accept rental payments.
- Support marketing initiatives and participate in weekly leasing meetings.
- Monitor market conditions and provide feedback for community improvements.
- Manage resident service requests and help plan community functions.
- Maintain the appearance of the office and model apartments.
- Enforce community policies and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Proactive approach with problem-solving skills and initiative.
- High level of organization to manage multiple tasks.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and online databases.
- Resilience, adaptability, and cultural diversity awareness.
- Ability to maintain open communication with the General Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
- Current enrollment in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing programs is preferred.
