About the role#
We are looking for a creative and outgoing student to serve as the face of our official TikTok account. You will bring campus life to the spotlight by producing content that connects with our students and the broader Academy community.
What you'll do#
- Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas for TikTok.
- Film, edit, and post videos highlighting campus events, student life, artistic works, and Academy culture.
- Interview and interact with students on camera.
- Attend weekly meetings with the Organic Social Media team to review content plans.
- Track TikTok trends and adapt them for the Academy page.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Academy of Art University with eligibility for work study.
- Comfort on camera and a friendly, approachable personality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with peers.
- Familiarity with TikTok, including editing, posting, and trend research.
- Reliability, organization, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Location & details#
- Location: Hybrid, with a mix of remote work and onsite campus events.
- Schedule: Flexible, between 5 and 20 hours per week.
- Pay: $19.61 per hour.
- Status: Part-time, paid position.
- Majors: Preference for students in Media Studies, Communications, Art, or Graphic Design.
