About the role#
The Stop Motion Animation Lab Assistant supports the daily operations of the lab at the Academy of Art University. This position assists students and faculty, maintains equipment, and handles administrative tasks for the department. It is a Federal Work Study role designed to help students build technical and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Manage student and equipment check-in and check-out processes.
- Help students use approved lab equipment.
- Monitor the lab to ensure everyone follows department policies.
- Perform maintenance on lab equipment.
- Complete general administrative tasks for the department.
What you'll need#
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficiency with Adobe CC.
- Proficiency with Dragonframe.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Location & details#
- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week, depending on your class schedule.
- Compensation: $19.61 per hour.
- Eligibility: This is a Federal Work Study position.
