About the role#
As an R&D Intern, you will work under the direction of site staff and management to support short-term projects. You will conduct experiments, perform testing, and gain hands-on experience in a dairy manufacturing environment. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Support product development through testing, trials, and data analysis.
- Assist in developing and evaluating dairy products to meet quality and performance goals.
- Collect, document, and share research findings with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to product innovation and process improvement initiatives.
- Learn about dairy industry trends, regulations, and development practices.
- Present your project results and key learnings at the end of the term.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- A genuine interest in research, product development, and food manufacturing.
Location & details#
- This role is on-site at one of three locations: Eden Prairie, MN; Le Sueur, MN; or Luxemburg, WI.
- The internship follows a rolling term schedule.
